According to the ballast tank used for the ship bow and the liquefied gas carrier, the ballast tank located on the ship bow is flexibly divided into several parts to be constructed, the ballast tank comprises the first section, the second section and the third section which are sequentially connected, the first section is composed of the top side tank and the bottom side tank which are connected through double shells, the volume of the tank is larger, and the capacity of the tank is larger; the second section and the third section do not comprise double shells, more space can be provided for enlarging the liquid cargo tank, and the communication efficiency of the top side tank and the bottom side tank at the position of the front wall face is also improved through the additionally-arranged communication pipe. Under the constraint of obvious linear contraction of the ship bow, the space of the bow is fully utilized, and the aims that the volume of the ballast tank is enough and the volume of the liquid cargo tank is large are achieved. The sectional design can be matched with the shape of the cargo hold higher, the cargo hold capacity of the bow can be increased as much as possible, the cargo hold capacity of a ballast tank of the bow can also be guaranteed, and the utilization rate of the ship bow space is increased.
