The invention discloses a traction force control device for a two-wheeled electric vehicle, which comprises a driving module and a control module connected with a power module, the driving module comprises a driving wheel, a non-driving wheel and a motor connected with the driving wheel; the motor is connected with a motor output shaft which is connected with the driving wheel; the control module comprises a TCS control unit and a motor control unit connected with the TCS control unit. The TCS control unit is connected with a first speed sensor and a torque sensor, the first speed sensor is connected with the motor, and the torque sensor is connected with an output shaft of the motor. The invention further discloses a traction force control method for the two-wheeled electric vehicle, whether the driving wheels slip or not is judged by monitoring whether the electromagnetic torque of the motor exceeds a certain torque threshold value in the reasonable electromagnetic torque range or not, and therefore TCS control can be simply and efficiently provided for the two-wheeled electric vehicle, and the safety of the vehicle is improved.
