The invention belongs to the technical field of aircrafts, and particularly relates to a small surveying unmanned aerial vehicle which comprises a base. The periphery of the base is fixedly connected with two pairs of evenly-arranged supporting arms. A rotor wing is installed at the end, away from the base, of the supporting arm and driven by a motor. A suction assembly is mounted on the base; a collecting assembly is mounted on one side of the suction assembly on the bottom surface of the base; the suction assembly is used for conveying liquid into the collection assembly; the collecting assembly is used for collecting and storing liquid; a pair of cameras are installed at the two ends of the base, the base descends to the top of the water surface, the water body is sucked to the collecting assembly through the suction assembly, and therefore a user does not need to drive a carrier personally to sample the water body, the surveying and sampling process of the user is simplified, and the user can conveniently know the water quality condition of a surveyed area.
