A traffic signal intelligent control architecture method comprises the steps of 1) creating a signal mode library, one signal mode of which provides an efficient service of traffic mode characteristics, 2) predicting traffic information characteristics, 3) analyzing traffic modes, 4) matching optimized signals of the signal modes corresponding to the traffic modes from the signal mode library, 5) deciding the optimized signals according to priority rules, and 6) determining the optimized signals according to priority rules. 6) making a mode transition period for converting a current signal into an optimized signal; and 7) executing the optimized signal. The method has the advantages that firstly, most prominently, a series of intelligent prediction traffic modes are matched with a control framework of a special superposed signal optimization mode library, each signal mode provides extremely efficient traffic service for the traffic mode matched with the signal mode, the signal mode is accurately constructed on a man-machine capability boundary, driving waiting can be greatly reduced and is far greater than 30%, and the driving efficiency is greatly improved; the method cannot be optimized through an existing artificial intelligence algorithm; 2) traffic flow and flow direction double-broad-spectrum load modeling efficient control and efficient response are realized; and 3) is a live architecture for receiving dynamic learning to create a new signal mode library.
