The deformable underwater robot comprises an upper main body, a lower main body and a deformation device for driving the upper main body and the lower main body to be opened and closed, telescopic linear driving assemblies are arranged on the two sides of the deformation device, the lower ends of the linear driving assemblies are installed on the lower main body, and the upper ends of the linear driving assemblies are connected with the upper main body. And the upper main body and the lower main body are closed to form a complete streamline main body. According to the invention, two working modes of a high-speed dragging mode and a disposal operation mode can be realized, large-range detection operation can be carried out, and relatively good deep sea operation capability can be realized.
