The invention provides an urban rail transit single train traction energy consumption determination method, and relates to the field of rail transit electric traction train energy consumption assessment, the method comprises the following steps: obtaining a mechanical energy increment generated by a train in a first interval, the first interval being an interval formed between a first place and a second place, the second place being an interval formed between the first place and the second place, and the third place being an interval formed between the first place and the second place; the first place and the second place can be any two places; the mapping relation between the mechanical energy increment and the traction energy consumption is established, and the mapping relation between the mechanical energy increment and the traction energy consumption is a linear relation; and according to the mapping relation between the mechanical energy increment and the traction energy consumption, the traction energy consumption generated by the train in the first interval is determined. According to the method provided by the invention, the traction energy consumption of the train can be effectively and quickly calculated, so that the calculation efficiency is improved, and the calculation process is simplified.
