The method comprises the following steps: acquiring fault information of a charging pile based on a 5G data transmission technology and an Internet of Things technology; obtaining a fault description text uploaded by the terminal based on a 5G data transmission technology; acquiring an environment image of the position of the charging pile; acquiring historical operation data of the charging pile from a cloud server; analyzing by utilizing the fault information, the fault description text, the environment image and the historical operation data so as to determine a fault source of the charging pile; data to be transmitted by the charging pile are transmitted in a multi-antenna transmission mode. By implementing the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the root of the fault can be accurately and quickly positioned, and the normal transmission of the data can be timely recovered when the personnel do not arrive at the site for maintenance.
