The invention provides a crane early warning device which is arranged on a crane jib and comprises a two-axis holder, a radar sensor, a main guide rail and an auxiliary guide rail, the auxiliary guide rail is of a straight rod structure and is parallel to the crane jib, the auxiliary guide rail is fixedly connected with the crane jib, the main guide rail is slidably connected to the auxiliary guide rail, and the radar sensor is arranged on the main guide rail. The main guide rail is of an annular structure arranged outside the suspension arm in a sleeving mode, and a first motor used for self-driving is arranged on the main guide rail. One end of the two-axis holder is in sliding connection with the main guide rail, a second motor for self-driving is arranged on the two-axis holder, and the other end of the two-axis holder is fixedly connected with the radar sensor; the two-axis holder comprises a horizontal rotating structure and a vertical rotating structure; the device further comprises a controller, and the controller is electrically connected with the radar sensor, the first motor and the second motor. According to the invention, the cost for scanning the radar sensor without dead angles is reduced.
