The invention provides a charging module calling method for a direct-current flexible split charging pile, the method is used for a matrix type charging system, the charging pile comprises a charging gun, a control box and a charging module, the charging gun is connected with a vehicle, and the method comprises the following steps: in a starting stage, the charging gun initiates a request instruction for calling the corresponding charging module; insulation detection is carried out on the corresponding charging module, and first pre-charging is carried out on the corresponding charging module and the vehicle battery. In the charging stage, when the required current is greater than the corresponding charging module, performing second pre-charging; in the second pre-charging process, the required number of the charging modules and the idle charging modules are firstly judged according to the required current, and then whether the connection control box corresponding to the required number of the charging modules is idle or not is judged; and closing a contactor of a control box associated with the charging module to charge the vehicle. And in the charging ending stage, the contactor is switched off when it is detected that the vehicle reaches the set SOC value. The service life of the vehicle electrical system and the battery is prolonged through the method.
