The method comprises the steps that the current electric quantity of a battery in the vehicle at the current moment is obtained; determining the total vehicle driving distance allowed to be maintained by the current electric quantity; in response to the fact that the total distance is larger than or equal to the to-be-driven target distance of the vehicle, the temperature adjusting strategy of the battery is determined based on the current electric quantity and the preset electric quantity of the battery, and the preset electric quantity is used for at least representing the first electric quantity needed for heating the battery to reach the first temperature threshold value and controlling the battery to reach the second temperature threshold value before charging is started; the second electric quantity is required for maintaining the first temperature threshold value, and the temperature adjusting strategy is used for representing a rule for adjusting the temperature of the battery; according to the temperature adjusting strategy, the current temperature of the battery is adjusted to a second temperature threshold value, and the second temperature threshold value is smaller than or equal to the first temperature threshold value. The technical problem that the charging efficiency of the new energy automobile is low in the low-temperature environment is solved.
