The invention relates to an initialization method and device for positioning information of a TACS degraded train and a medium, and the method calculates a safety envelope of the train according to a TACS train authorization allowable operation range or a red light annunciator blocking principle, thereby effectively initializing the position of the TACS degraded train. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the position of the TACS degraded train is effectively initialized, and availability and safety of TACS degraded train application and resource release are guaranteed.
