The invention relates to the technical field of suspensions, in particular to a torsion beam suspension and a new energy automobile. The torsion beam suspension comprises a cross beam and longitudinal beams connected to the two opposite ends of the cross beam, each longitudinal beam comprises a first supporting arm, a second supporting arm and a connecting arm, each connecting arm is arranged between the corresponding first supporting arm and the corresponding second supporting arm and movably connected with the corresponding first supporting arm and the corresponding second supporting arm, and the first supporting arms extend towards the rear portion of the vehicle body in the length direction of the vehicle body. The second support arm extends towards the front of the vehicle body. Wherein the connecting arm is provided with a wheel mounting plate used for being connected with a wheel, and the end, away from the connecting arm, of the first supporting arm and the end, away from the connecting arm, of the second supporting arm are both used for being connected with a vehicle body. According to the torsion beam suspension and the new energy automobile provided by the invention, the problem that excessive steering is generated when an existing torsion beam suspension transmits lateral force is solved.
