The invention provides an electro-tricycle. The electro-tricycle comprises a frame unit, a power unit connected with the frame unit and an actuating unit connected with the power unit. The power unit comprises a motor, a gear box connected with the motor and an output shaft connected with the gear box. The actuating unit comprises a rocker arm connected with the frame unit, a rear axle assembly connected with the rocker arm, two rear wheels connected with the two opposite ends of the rear axle assembly respectively, a differential mechanism installed on the rear axle assembly and a linkage mechanism connected between the output shaft and the differential mechanism. The rear axle assembly is provided with two driving shafts which are respectively connected between the rear wheels and the differential mechanism, and the differential mechanism is provided with an input shaft which is connected with the linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism is provided with at least one universal joint arranged between the output shaft and the input shaft.
