A controller performs a series of charging and discharging processes of charging the LFP battery to a fully charged state by a charger/discharger; an LFP battery in a fully charged state is discharged by a charger/discharger until an OCV of the LFP battery reaches a predetermined OCV of the LFP battery that uniquely indicates a common capacity before and after deterioration of the LFP battery, and a current integrated value of a discharge current during the period is acquired. The change capacity of the LFP battery is obtained on the basis of one or more current integrated values obtained by performing one or more charging and discharging processes. The change capacity is added to the common capacity to calculate the full charge capacity of the LFP battery, and the deterioration of the LFP battery is determined on the basis of the calculated full charge capacity of the LFP battery and the initial full charge capacity of the LFP battery.
