The invention relates to an LNG ship liquid cargo tank insulation box installation tool and method.The installation tool comprises prefabricated plywood strips coated with resin, the prefabricated plywood strips are installed on an insulation box bottom plate, and the resin is located on the faces, away from the insulation box bottom plate, of the prefabricated plywood strips. The installation efficiency of the LNG ship liquid cargo tank insulation box can be improved, and the storage pressure of an insulation box warehouse is reduced.
