The present invention relates to a tire heating system for a vehicle, the tire heating system comprising: a power system configured to employ an energy generation mode; an energy storage system electrically connected to the power system; a tire heating device electrically connected to the power received from the power system; and a control unit connected to the power system and the energy storage system, the control unit comprising a control circuit configured to determine an energy power absorption capability of the energy storage system; comparing the energy power absorption capability with power generated by the power system when the power system employs an energy generation mode; and controls the power system to supply power to the tire heating device when the power generated in the energy generation mode exceeds the energy power absorption capability.
