The invention relates to an energy supply unit (1) for a fuel cell system, comprising a housing (2) having a housing part (3) which forms a cooling channel (4) to which a cooling medium can be loaded and at least one cooling tower (5) which extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the cooling channel (4), the invention relates to a cooling tower (5) for receiving a current-carrying component (6), in particular a bus bar, a cavity (7) being formed in the cooling tower (5), said cavity being connected to the cooling channel (4) such that the cavity (7) can likewise be loaded with the cooling medium. The invention also relates to a method for producing an energy supply unit (1).
