The invention provides an air suspension system and a control method of the air suspension system. The air suspension system comprises a plurality of air springs and a connecting pipeline, and the air springs are all connected with one end of the connecting pipeline; the first pipeline is connected between the first gas tank and the other end of the connecting pipeline; the second pipeline is connected between the second gas tank and the other end of the connecting pipeline; the valve assembly is arranged among the first air tank, the second air tank and the air springs; and the controller is configured to control the first air tank or the second air tank to communicate with the air springs according to the critical pressure of the multiple air springs so as to adjust the posture of the vehicle. According to the air suspension system, the controller is configured to control the first air tank or the second air tank to be communicated with the air spring, so that the air pressure in the air spring can quickly reach the required critical pressure, and the vehicle posture adjusting speed can be increased.
