The method comprises the steps that when a to-be-controlled vehicle is started, the initial endurance mileage, the free driving mileage and the purchased driving mileage of the to-be-controlled vehicle are obtained; wherein the initial endurance mileage is used for representing the endurance mileage corresponding to the current electric quantity of the vehicle battery; the free driving mileage refers to the endurance mileage which can be freely used by a user after a vehicle battery is fully charged; if the purchased driving mileage is smaller than or equal to zero, the total endurance mileage of the to-be-controlled vehicle is obtained, and the available endurance mileage is determined according to the total endurance mileage, the initial endurance mileage and the free driving mileage; otherwise, determining the initial endurance mileage as the available endurance mileage; and controlling the vehicle to be controlled to run according to the determined available endurance mileage. The method is used for achieving the effect of improving the driving experience of the user.
