The worm-imitating multi-section crawling robot comprises a first end body section, a plurality of middle body sections and a second end body section, bending joints are arranged between the first end body section and the middle body section adjacent to the first end body section, bending joints are arranged between the second end body section and the middle body section adjacent to the second end body section, and bending joints are arranged between every two adjacent middle body sections. According to the worm-imitating multi-section crawling robot, a multi-section structure is adopted, the first end body section, the middle body section and the second end body section can alternately stretch out and draw back in the radial direction and the axial direction, the bending joints with the self-locking function and two degrees of freedom are combined, the section number and the degree of freedom of the robot are convenient to expand, and the working efficiency is improved. Movement modes of worms such as earthworms or inchworms can be simulated, so that the robot has high flexibility, expandability and adaptability to various environments.
