The invention relates to a lifting mechanism and a stacking machine, and belongs to the technical field of storage and transportation. The lifting mechanism comprises a first transmission assembly and a second transmission assembly. The first transmission assembly comprises a first driving part, a lead screw, a first push block, a push cylinder and buffer parts, the push cylinder is provided with a first movable hole in a penetrating mode, the first push block is movably arranged in the first movable hole, the inner side of the push cylinder is provided with a first face and a second face which are opposite in the first direction, and the first face and the second face are connected with the first push block through the buffer parts; the first driving piece drives the lead screw to rotate so as to push the first push block to move in the first direction to extrude the buffer piece close to the first face or extrude the buffer piece close to the second face so as to push the push cylinder to move in the first direction. The input end of the second transmission assembly is connected with the push cylinder, and the second transmission assembly pushes the guide wheel to move in the second direction along with movement of the first push block. According to the lifting mechanism, the probability that the teeth of the lead screw are damaged under instantaneous pressure can be reduced, and the service life of the lead screw is prolonged.
