The method comprises the steps that when a vehicle is in a non-driving state, door edge force sensor data corresponding to a driving position are obtained, and the emotional state of a driver is determined based on the door edge force sensor data; if the emotional state represents that the driver has a first emotional tendency, acquiring first emotional characteristic data of the driver; determining the emotional state of the driver again based on the first emotional feature data; and if the re-determined emotional state still represents that the driver has the first emotional tendency, an accelerator pedal sensor of the vehicle is triggered to be turned off within the specified duration so as to control delayed starting of the vehicle. According to the method, the emotional tendency of the driver is determined for multiple times, and the vehicle starting control mode under the corresponding emotional tendency is triggered based on the determined emotional tendency, so that the driver can drive in a relatively smooth and stable emotional state, and the driving safety is improved.
