The invention provides a control method and device for refrigeration equipment, and the method comprises the steps: determining a temperature monitoring result of an evaporator according to a first temperature of the evaporator in the refrigeration equipment, a second temperature of at least one air outlet of the refrigeration equipment, and a third temperature of an external environment; according to the temperature monitoring result of the evaporator, reference adjusting parameters of the refrigeration equipment are determined; the reference adjusting parameters comprise the current actual temperature of the evaporator and the current limit working parameters of a compressor in the refrigeration equipment, and the current actual temperature is within the preset normal working temperature range of the evaporator; and after a refrigeration request is received, the current control strategy of the compressor is determined according to the target temperature in the refrigeration request, the reference adjusting parameters of the refrigeration equipment and the temperature monitoring result of the evaporator, and the compressor is controlled to work according to the current control strategy. Therefore, according to the scheme, it can be guaranteed that when the temperature of the evaporator is abnormal, the compressor cannot be completely shut down, and therefore the reliability and user satisfaction of the air conditioning system are improved.
