The method comprises the steps that the hydraulic buffer water temperature state and the running working condition of the truck are obtained through a truck body controller; under the condition that the hydraulic buffer water temperature and the running working condition meet preset conditions, corresponding brake compensation logic is executed according to the gear information of the brake handle; wherein the gear information of the brake handle comprises a braking gear in a driving cylinder and a hydraulic buffer and in-cylinder hybrid braking gear. The hydraulic buffer braking system can rapidly respond under hydraulic buffer overtemperature or specific working conditions, and the braking performance and driving safety of the heavy truck under various complex conditions are ensured through the synergistic effect of in-cylinder braking and hydraulic buffer braking.
