The gear shifting executing mechanism is controlled by an SAU gear shifting actuator controller, all systems are controlled by a vehicle control unit in the gear shifting process, and the SAU gear shifting actuator controller responds to gear taking-off and gear engaging instructions sent by the vehicle control unit and controls the gear shifting executing mechanism to act. The vehicle control unit carries out control instruction interaction with the engine controller, the PEU controller and the SAU gear shifting actuator controller through CAN communication, and has the advantages that automatic control over gear shifting of an engine and an EM2 (TM) motor is carried out; meanwhile, a control method for gear shifting of the engine is creatively provided, and the application problem of clutch-free gear shifting control of the engine is solved.
