The monitoring method comprises the following steps: acquiring various original monitoring data related to fatigue state monitoring; feature extraction processing is carried out on each kind of original monitoring data, and monitoring features of each kind of original monitoring data are determined; and analyzing and processing all the monitoring characteristics, and determining a fatigue monitoring result of the target driver. Thus, according to the technical scheme, the fatigue state of the driver can be automatically monitored in real time, the fatigue monitoring result is determined through multiple monitoring characteristics, and the accuracy of the fatigue monitoring result can be effectively improved.
