The invention relates to the technical field of traffic signal control, and discloses a long trunk road multi-path coordination green wave optimization method and system based on electronic police data, and the optimization method comprises the following steps: obtaining a long trunk road structure, intersection signal timing parameters and electronic police data; acquiring path flow and path average travel time in the target trunk road according to the electronic police data; identifying a key path in the trunk road based on the path information; constructing and solving an optimization model aiming at maximizing the weighted sum of the green wave bandwidth of the key path; and adjusting the signal control parameters of the actual road section according to the optimization result of the optimization model. The method can be applied to an urban long trunk road scene, independent green waves are provided for multiple paths, and the traffic flow passing efficiency of the urban trunk road is improved.
