The invention relates to a wing for an aircraft, a high-lift assembly for the wing, a method for connecting a high-lift body to a connecting assembly and an aircraft. The wing includes: a main wing including a fixed leading edge having an outer skin; and a high lift assembly. The assembly comprises: a high lift body comprising a high lift structure defining an internal volume; and a connection assembly extending through an aperture in the outer skin to connect the body to the main wing such that the body moves between a retracted position and an extended position. The connection assembly includes an elongated track and first and second connectors that connect the track to the body. The body is configurable to a retracted position. The second connector is an elongate connector and is connected to the body to allow translational movement between the body and the second connector along its longitudinal axis, and the high lift structure includes an opening through which the track extends such that the second connector is positioned in the interior volume.
