The present disclosure provides "target selection". Respective driver assistance features of a current activity in a vehicle are identified, and parameters of an object set for determining respective targets of the driver assistance features are obtained. Applying the parameters of a first one of the driver assistance features to output, for the first one of the driver assistance features, a first target set of one or more targets selected from a set of candidate objects; and then applying the parameters of a second one of the driver assistance features to output, for the second one of the driver assistance features, a second target set of one or more targets selected from the set of candidate objects.
