The invention relates to a license plate recognition method based on video piles, terminal equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: setting at least two berth frames for an image corresponding to each video pile, one berth frame corresponding to a berth occupied by the video pile, and the other berth frames corresponding to adjacent berths of the berth occupied by the video pile; the method comprises the following steps: when a vehicle parked at a certain parking space is determined, firstly, searching whether an image which meets the condition that the overlapping rate of the image and a parking space frame belonging to the parking space occupied by the video pile corresponding to the image is greater than an overlapping rate threshold value exists in all images shot by the video pile corresponding to the parking space or not; judging whether a license plate is extracted from the image with the maximum overlapping rate, and if yes, taking the extracted license plate as the license plate of the vehicle parked in the parking space; and otherwise, determining the license plate from all images shot by the video piles corresponding to the adjacent berths of the berth. The license plate recognition rate is improved, and manual intervention is reduced.
本发明涉及一种基于视频桩的车牌识别方法、终端设备及存储介质,该方法中包括:为每个视频桩对应的图像设置至少两个泊位框,其中一个泊位框对应该视频桩所占泊位,其他泊位框对应该视频桩所占泊位的相邻泊位;在确定某个泊位停放的车辆时,首先从该泊位对应的视频桩拍摄的所有图像中查找是否存在一图像满足与泊位框中属于图像对应视频桩所占泊位的泊位框的重叠率大于重叠率阈值,如果存在,判断其中重叠率最大的图像中是否提取到车牌,如果是,则将提取到的车牌作为该泊位停放车辆的车牌;否则,从该泊位的相邻泊位对应的视频桩拍摄的所有图像中确定车牌。本发明提高了车牌的识别率,减少了人工介入。
