The invention discloses an anti-collision strip for a freight elevator, an installation method and application of the anti-collision strip, and belongs to the technical field of anti-collision strip preparation technologies, the anti-collision strip comprises a body made of a soft PVC material, and the material is prepared through a specific formula and technology so as to enhance the mechanical property and weather resistance of the anti-collision strip. The body is designed to be free of screw holes, the appearance is kept clean and attractive, and hanging is facilitated through the chamfer design. The anti-collision strip is installed on a support made of a galvanized sheet, and the support is provided with a bolt installation hole and a self-tapping and self-drilling screw so as to fix an anti-collision strip body. When collision occurs, the support can disperse impact force to the whole anti-collision strip, and damage to the elevator car wall is reduced. Compared with the prior art, the anti-collision strip is reasonable in structural design, easy and convenient to install and attractive in appearance, the safety of the freight elevator can be effectively improved, and the service life of the freight elevator can be effectively prolonged.
