The invention relates to an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) retimer circuit applied to rail transit and an implementation method, which solve the problems of attenuation, distortion and the like of long-distance transmission audio and video signals and improve the transmission stability and quality. The circuit is composed of a power management module, an HDMI input and output module, an HDMI retiming module, an MCU control module and an audio processing module. The power management module converts 5V voltage into 3.3 V voltage and 1.2 V voltage, and supplies power to each module; the retiming module uses an MS9331 chip to complete signal clock recovery, equalization, retiming and audio separation; the MCU control module adjusts the signal state through an I2C interface; and the audio module converts the I2S audio into an analog signal through a DAC and outputs the analog signal. The system is suitable for rail transit scenes, stable transmission of high-definition signals is achieved, double-screen different display and audio output are supported, and high expansibility is achieved.
