The invention relates to a brake actuating element coupling device, comprising: a first input lever assembly (10), which can be displaced from its first starting position in a braking direction (12) towards a master brake cylinder by means of a driver braking force (Fdriver); a second input rod assembly (14); the second input rod assembly (14) is fixed on the first input rod assembly (10) through the locking mechanism (16) in the locked functional mode of the second input rod assembly (14), so that the second input rod assembly (14) can be displaced along the braking direction (12); the driver braking force (Fdriver) can be transmitted to at least one displaceable piston of the master brake cylinder, and the second input rod assembly (149) can be displaced relative to the first input rod assembly (10) in the braking direction (12) as long as the locking mechanism (16) is in its non-locking functional mode, and the second input rod assembly (149) can be moved relative to the first input rod assembly (10) in the braking direction (12) as long as the locking mechanism (16) is in its non-locking functional mode. Wherein the locking mechanism (16) is designed in such a way that the locking mechanism (16) can be switched from its unlocked functional mode to its locked functional mode by means of a displacement of the first input lever assembly (10) out of a first starting position of the first input lever assembly by at least one predefined first minimum displacement path.
