The elevator energy-saving circuit comprises an elevator and a direct-current main bus connected with a commercial power grid, and the elevator is provided with a traction machine and a traction machine driver; wherein a first switch assembly is arranged between a direct-current bus of the traction machine driver and a direct-current main bus, and the first switch assembly is used for controlling connection/disconnection between the elevator traction machine driver and the direct-current main bus; a braking power generation circuit of the elevator traction machine driver is connected with the direct-current main bus through a second switch assembly, the elevator traction machine driver further comprises a braking resistor, the braking resistor is connected with the second switch assembly, and the second switch assembly is used for controlling connection/disconnection among the braking power generation circuit, the direct-current main bus and the braking resistor. By optimizing the circuit structure, power can be normally supplied to the elevator during operation, and energy generated by braking can be stored or supplied to other elevators during braking, so that the energy consumption is reduced, and the energy-saving performance is improved.
