A brake system (4) for a motorcycle, comprising: a first brake device (12) operatively connectable to a first wheel of the motorcycle and provided with a first hydraulic supply circuit (16); a first manually operated hydraulic device (20) provided with a first manually operated control (24) and a first hydraulic delivery circuit (28) fluidly connectable to the first hydraulic supply circuit (16); a second brake device (32) operatively connectable to the first or second wheel of the motorcycle and provided with a second hydraulic supply circuit (36), which is different from or coincides with the first hydraulic supply circuit (16); a second manually operated hydraulic device (40) provided with a second manually operated control (44) and a second hydraulic delivery circuit (48) fluidly connectable to the second hydraulic supply circuit (36); the invention relates to a hydraulic system comprising a first hydraulic supply circuit (16) and a second hydraulic supply circuit (36), an electric actuator (52) having an electrically or electromechanical motor device (56) operatively connected to an electrically or electromechanically operated float (60), the electrically or electromechanically operated float (60) being fluidly connected to a conveyor (64) of the electric actuator (52), the conveyor (64) being connected to the first hydraulic supply circuit (16) and/or the second hydraulic supply circuit (36), the first hydraulic delivery circuit (28) and the second hydraulic delivery circuit (48) are fluidly connected to each other by placing a valve device (68), in which the brake system (4) is provided with a processing and control unit (72) operatively connected to the electric actuator (52) and to the valve device (68), the processing and control unit (72) is programmed such that: in a standard operation, the processing and control unit (72) translates the electrically or electromechanically operated float (60) in the event that the first manually operated hydraulic device (20) and/or the second manually operated hydraulic device (40) are/is actuated, and in the event that the first manually operated hydraulic device (20) and/or the second manually operated hydraulic device (40) are/is actuated, the processing and control unit (72) translates the electrically or electromechanically operated float (60); in order to fluidly disconnect the first hydraulic supply circuit (16) and/or the second hydraulic supply circuit (36) from the first hydraulic supply circuit (28) and/or the second hydraulic supply circuit (48), and at the same time to actuate at least the first brake device (12) and/or at least the second brake device (32).
