The invention provides an early warning method based on a driving blind area and related equipment, and the method comprises the steps: determining the driving blind area of a vehicle in the driving process, and recognizing a to-be-detected vehicle in the driving blind area; receiving first driving behavior information of the to-be-detected vehicle, and detecting whether the to-be-detected vehicle has an overtaking intention according to the first driving behavior information; acquiring second driving behavior information of the vehicle, and detecting whether the vehicle has a lane changing intention or not according to the second driving behavior information; under the condition that the to-be-detected vehicle has the overtaking intention and the vehicle does not have the lane changing intention, first early warning information is generated, and the first early warning information is displayed to a driver according to a first display strategy; and under the condition that the to-be-detected vehicle has the overtaking intention and the vehicle has the lane changing intention, generating second early warning information, and displaying the second early warning information to the driver according to a second display strategy. According to the method, the potential collision conflict condition can be predicted in real time, early warning information is sent out in advance, and more abundant lane changing response time is provided for a driver.
