The invention discloses a distance measuring and monitoring early warning system for in-place of a self-elevating platform. Comprising a distance measuring module, a monitoring display and a main control module which are arranged on a self-elevating platform and are connected together through a first communication line, and a shipborne monitoring component and an alarm component which are arranged on a tugboat and are connected with a wireless communication component through a second communication line, the distance measurement module comprises a laser radar distance measurement sub-module and a laser radar-millimeter wave radar-camera integrated distance measurement sub-module, the main control module comprises a data acquisition part, a first switch and a wireless communication base station which are connected with the power supply part, and the data acquisition part is used for acquiring distance measurement data; the wireless communication base station is used for transmitting distance measurement data to the shipborne monitoring component and the alarm component through the wireless communication component, the shipborne monitoring component is used for displaying the distance measurement data, the alarm component is used for giving an alarm when an alarm signal exists, a tug operator can be prompted to adjust the operation condition of a ship in time, and collision accidents are avoided.
