Some embodiments of the present specification provide systems and methods for predicting a movement trajectory of a pedestrian. The method system comprises a communication interface used for receiving a map of an area where a pedestrian is walking and obtaining sensor data associated with the pedestrian; at least one processor for extracting pedestrian features from the sensor data; identifying one or more objects surrounding the pedestrian based on the location of the pedestrian; extracting object features of one or more objects from the sensor data; determining a score of each candidate trajectory by using a learning model based on the extracted pedestrian features and object features; in response to the condition that the score of the candidate trajectory is greater than a threshold value, predicting a moving trajectory and a moving speed of the pedestrian based on one or more candidate trajectories greater than the threshold value; updating an angle of the lidar and/or adjusting a focus of the camera in response to the score of absence of the candidate trajectory being greater than a threshold to obtain additional sensor data; pedestrian features and object features are determined based on the additional sensor data.
