The invention belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic, and particularly discloses an SCATS signal timing optimization method based on road checkpoint data, which comprises the following steps: establishing a corresponding relation between a road checkpoint equipment point location and an SCATS intersection lane; road checkpoint real-time acquisition data are accessed to an SCATS area control computer; calculating an optimal signal period of the intersection; calculating the phase saturation of the current period of the intersection; calculating the phase saturation under a preset green time ratio scheme built in the SCATS system; selecting the green time ratio scheme with the most balanced phase saturation in the preset green time ratio schemes as the green time ratio scheme of the next period; and issuing the calculated optimal signal period and the selected green signal ratio scheme to an SCATS intersection signal machine for execution. According to the SCATS signal timing optimization method and system, the automation level of traffic police for SCATS signal timing optimization can be improved, the labor cost is reduced, the scientific rationality of SCATS signal timing optimization can be improved, and traffic congestion is relieved.

    本发明属于智能交通技术领域,具体公开了基于道路卡口数据的SCATS信号配时优化方法,包括建立道路卡口设备点位和SCATS路口车道的对应关系;将道路卡口实时采集数据接入SCATS区控计算机;计算路口的最佳信号周期;计算路口当前周期的相位饱和度;计算SCATS系统内置的预设绿信比方案下的相位饱和度;选择预设绿信比方案中相位饱和度最为均衡的绿信比方案作为下一周期的绿信比方案;将计算的最佳信号周期及选择的绿信比方案下发至SCATS路口信号机执行。本发明既可以提高交警对于SCATS信号配时优化的自动化水平,减少人力成本,又能提高SCATS信号配时优化的科学合理性,缓解交通拥堵。
