The invention discloses a traffic flow parameter estimation method and system, and relates to the field of traffic parameter prediction, and the method comprises the steps: constructing a traffic flow function relation between traffic density and flow rate, and constructing a vehicle time-space trajectory operation function relation between vehicle trajectory position and time under the condition that vehicles on a road are unsaturated; analyzing that the queuing delay phenomenon does not occur after the vehicle enters from the upstream virtual travel boundary, and obtaining the travel time of the vehicle between the upstream virtual travel boundary and the downstream virtual travel boundary according to the sum of the vehicle delay time and the free travel time; according to the travel time when the vehicle generates the queuing delay phenomenon and does not generate the queuing delay phenomenon, obtaining a probability distribution model when the vehicle generates the queuing delay phenomenon and does not generate the queuing delay phenomenon by using normal distribution, taking the probability distribution model as a traffic parameter joint probability density model, and solving maximum likelihood estimation by using an expectation maximization algorithm EM to obtain a traffic parameter joint probability density model; and the estimation of traffic parameters is completed. The method can accurately estimate the traffic parameters.

    本发明公开了一种交通流参数的预估方法及系统,涉及交通参数预测领域,包括:构建交通密度与流率的交通流函数关系,并构建道路上的车辆不饱和的情况下,车辆轨迹位置与时间的车辆时间空间轨迹运行函数关系;分析车辆从上游虚拟行程边界进入后会不会发生排队延误现象,并根据车辆延误的时间以及自由行驶时间之和,获得车辆在上、下游虚拟行程边界之间的行程时间;根据车辆发生排队延误现象和不发生排队延误现象的行程时间,使用正态分布获取车辆发生排队延误现象和不发生排队延误现象的概率分布模型,作为交通参数联合概率密度模型,使用期望最大化算法EM求解极大似然估计,完成对交通参数的估计。本发明能够准确估计交通参数。
