The invention aims to provide a turboprop engine and a variable pitch device thereof. The variable pitch device comprises an outer shell, a piston, an adjusting piece, a locking piece and a flow path. The piston divides the interior of the outer shell into a first cavity and a second cavity, a third cavity is defined between the adjusting piece and the outer shell, and the locking piece is in transmission connection with the adjusting piece. When the fluid pressure in the second cavity is larger than a pressure threshold value, the adjusting piece is driven to move in the direction of compressing the elastic piece and can drive the locking piece to move to the first position, and when the fluid pressure in the second cavity is smaller than the pressure threshold value, the elastic piece can elastically reset and drive the adjusting piece to act. The adjusting piece drives the locking piece to move to the second position, the locking piece allows the piston to move at the first position, and the locking piece limits the piston to move at the second position. By means of the variable pitch device, the propeller fan can be prevented from moving towards the flat propeller at any pitch angle position.

    本发明的目的在于提供一种涡桨发动机及其变桨距装置,变桨距装置包括外壳体、活塞、调节件、锁止件以及流路。活塞将外壳体内部分隔成第一腔室以及第二腔室,调节件与外壳体之间围出有第三腔室,锁止件与调节件传动连接。其中,当第二腔室内的流体压力大于压力阈值时,调节件被驱使朝向压缩弹性件的方向运动,并能够带动锁止件运动至第一位置,当第二腔室内的流体压力小于压力阈值时,弹性件能够弹性复位并驱使调节件作动,使调节件带动锁止件运动至第二位置,锁止件在第一位置允许活塞运动,在第二位置限制活塞运动。通过本变桨距装置能够实现在任意桨距角位置避免桨扇往平桨运动。
