The invention provides an escalator braking system and a control method. The control method comprises the steps that the deceleration in the escalator braking process is collected; extracting a braking deceleration sequence and a vibration deceleration sequence of the braking process based on the deceleration collected at each sampling time point in the braking process; determining wear characteristics of magnetorheological fluid in the braking device based on the trend characteristics of the braking deceleration sequence; determining the hysteresis state when the rheological property of the magnetorheological fluid is changed according to the excitation current of the excitation coil in the braking process of the escalator and the power spectrum characteristic of the vibration deceleration sequence; and the extrusion compensation amount of magnetorheological fluid is determined according to the hysteresis state and the abrasion characteristics, and compensation control is conducted on a brake device in the escalator according to the extrusion compensation amount. By the adoption of the scheme, the wall sliding phenomenon caused by rheological property changes of the magnetorheological fluid can be avoided, and therefore the safety of the escalator is improved.

    本申请提供了一种自动扶梯制动系统及控制方法,通过采集自动扶梯制动过程中的减速度;基于该制动过程中各采样时间点采集的减速度提取该制动过程的制动减速度序列和振动减速度序列;基于所述制动减速度序列的趋势特征确定制动装置中磁流变液的磨损特征;根据自动扶梯制动过程中励磁线圈的励磁电流和所述振动减速度序列的功率谱特性确定磁流变液的流变性质发生改变时的磁滞状态;依据所述磁滞状态和所述磨损特征确定磁流变液的挤压补偿量,根据所述挤压补偿量对自动扶梯中的制动装置进行补偿控制。采用本申请的方案,能够避免因磁流变液流变性质变化而造成的壁面滑移现象,从而提高自动扶梯的安全性。
