The invention belongs to the technical field of coal mine auxiliary transportation, and discloses an automatic hoisting system and an automatic hoisting method for a mining auxiliary transportation monorail crane, the automatic hoisting system comprises an electric control monitoring system, a container type mine car and a lock control lifting appliance, top connecting blocks are arranged at four corners of the top of the container type mine car; the lock control lifting appliance comprises a lifting appliance frame body, a spin lock mechanism and a power mechanism, the spin lock mechanism corresponds to the top connecting block in position, and the power mechanism is used for driving the spin lock mechanism to rotate in the top connecting block; the electric control monitoring system comprises a control box, an induction pin and a sensor assembly, and the induction pin is arranged at the butt joint of the lock control lifting appliance and the container type mine car; the sensor assembly comprises an unlocking position in-place sensor, a padlock position in-place sensor and a lifting appliance in-place sensor, wherein the unlocking position in-place sensor and the padlock position in-place sensor are used for detecting the working state of the spin lock mechanism; according to the invention, automation, standardization and unmanned hoisting of the monorail crane are realized, and the transportation efficiency and safety are greatly improved.
