The invention belongs to a preparation method of a high-performance plant fiber composite material for automotive interiors, which comprises the following steps: sequentially carrying out enhancement treatment, quasi-isotropic treatment and resin composite treatment on a plant material to finally obtain the high-performance plant fiber composite material for automotive interiors. The composite material prepared by the method disclosed by the invention has strength, hardness and toughness superior to those of a traditional plant fiber composite structural member, and can be compared favorably with organic/inorganic fiber composite materials such as carbon fibers and glass fibers for traditional automotive interiors, and the method overcomes the problem of insufficient mechanical properties of the current plant fiber composite material; the application range of the plant fiber composite material in the field of automotive interiors is widened.
