A collision detection circuit of a battery management unit (BMU) includes: a reference voltage generator configured to generate a reference voltage in response to a collision signal output from a vehicle being input to the BMU; and a comparator configured to compare the reference voltage generated from the reference voltage generator with a processed collision signal corresponding to the collision signal, and output a collision detection signal in response to the processed collision signal having a duration greater than or equal to a minimum retention time and being at a voltage greater than or equal to the reference voltage.
