The invention discloses a direct current charging circuit and a direct current charging method, and relates to the technical field of electric vehicle charging. The circuit includes: a bidirectional DC converter including a low voltage port and a high voltage port; two ends of the low-voltage port are respectively connected with positive and negative electrodes of a low-voltage auxiliary battery of the vehicle; two ends of the high-voltage port are respectively connected with high-voltage direct-current buses connected to positive and negative electrodes of a vehicle power battery; positive and negative electrodes of a first charging interface of the vehicle charging socket are respectively connected with the high-voltage direct-current bus at two ends of the high-voltage port, and the positive electrode is connected with the high-voltage direct-current bus through a relay; and the bidirectional direct current converter is used for converting high-voltage electricity transmitted by the power supply equipment through the charging socket in a constant-voltage mode or a constant-current mode into low-voltage electricity and then charging the low-voltage auxiliary battery under the condition that the low-voltage auxiliary battery and the power battery are both in a feed state. According to the invention, deep discharge of the power battery caused by the fact that the fed power battery supplies power to the low-voltage auxiliary battery can be avoided, so that a battery cell of the power battery is prevented from being damaged.
