Disclosed is a UE capable of efficiently reporting a UE flight path in a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The UE may include a transceiver; and at least one processor configured to receive, by the transceiver, a first message for configuring a flight path update notification from a base station, identify that a flight path has been updated, and send, by the transceiver, a second message to the base station based on the first message and the identification, the second message includes a flight path update indication for indicating that the flight path has been updated.
