The invention relates to gas leak detection in vehicle tires, and in particular, a computer system includes a processing circuit, the processing circuitry is configured to: determine a presence of a gas leak in a vehicle tire in response to a difference between a first value indicative of an amount of gas in the vehicle tire at a first point in time and a second value indicative of an amount of gas in the vehicle tire at a second point in time being above a predetermined threshold limit; and transmitting data to perform a responsive action in response to the determined gas leak.
