The method is applied to a vehicle seat, and the vehicle seat is provided with a seat cushion. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring pressure data of a driver acting on a seat cushion of a vehicle seat; according to the pressure data, the area where the driver acts on the seat cushion of the vehicle seat is partitioned, and different body partitions are obtained; piezoelectric data, corresponding to a seat cushion area of a vehicle seat, of a driver are obtained; in the piezoelectric data, each body partition has a plurality of corresponding partition piezoelectric data, and weighting calculation is performed on the plurality of corresponding partition piezoelectric data in the same body partition to obtain vital sign data of the driver; and judging the fatigue state of the driver according to the vital sign data. Therefore, fatigue driving monitoring is carried out on the driver, fatigue driving of the driver is reminded, and driving safety is guaranteed.
