The invention discloses a functionalized elastomer and a preparation method thereof, vulcanized rubber formed by the functionalized elastomer, and application of the functionalized elastomer and the vulcanized rubber in tires. The functionalized elastomer comprises a polymer chain segment and an end-capping group, wherein the polymer chain segment is a conjugated diene homopolymerized chain segment or a copolymerized chain segment formed by conjugated diene and monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon; wherein the end-capping group is derived from a self-end-capping agent, and the end-capping agent is a nitrogen-doped siloxy tricyclic compound with a glycidoxy group. The tail end of a macromolecular chain of the functionalized elastomer is provided with a group containing a plurality of silicon, nitrogen and oxygen heteroatoms, and the group can interact with a group on the surface of white carbon black, so that the affinity of rubber and the white carbon black is effectively improved, and the dispersion of the white carbon black is promoted. The functionalized elastomer and vulcanized rubber prepared from the functionalized elastomer have relatively high wet skid resistance and relatively low rolling resistance, and are tread rubber materials with excellent performance.
